The site of the Old Plough dates from tudor times when it produced malt barley for brewing. It was rebuilt in 1838 and served as a coaching inn/pub until 1948.

Constructed from local ironstone and limestone with a Collyweston slate roof, this charming old house, together with a stable block and coach house is now grade II listed and retains many of its original and distinctive feature: such as the beer cellar, meeting rooms and the oak beamed guest dining room.

The Old Plough's B&B options are ideal for both the business traveller to Corby in Northamptonshire and the tourist visitor to the county of Rutland and the nearby attractions of Rockingham Castle, Rutland Water, Eyebrook Reservoir, and the Rutland Bird Fayre amongst many others.
