Smallicombe Copse an ancient woodland has been selected as a County Wildlife Site. The shy roe deer live there undisturbed along with badgers, foxes and a wide selection of birds including spotted and green woodpeckers, buzzards, little owls, heron various tits to name but a few of the 50 different birds spotted around here by a guest.
