Casa Guilla
Casa Guilla is a rural guesthouse situated in the prime position of the Catalan Pyrenees mountain village of Santa Engracia which itself nestles on a rocky outcrop over 1000 metres up and overlooking the regional capital of Tremp.
The views are breathtaking. The scenery is truly splendid. The area is very popular with ornithologists who are able to see a wide range of birds without going too far a field, often no further than Casa Guilla’s terrace that has a panoramic view of the Tremp valley.
Of particular interest are the Lammergeier and the Wallcreeper. Lists of birds seen in the area are available on the Casa Guilla website.

The National Park of Aigüestortes and the Lake of Sant Maurici Boumort National Game Reserve (Reserva Nacional de Caça de Boumort) Pui de Llaràs 1692m and Pleta Verda. An 11 km walk from Casa Guilla. La Terreta & Serra de Sant Gervàs Lake Cellers (Pantà dels Terradets) The Montsec ridge (Serra del Montsec).
There is a road across from Alsamora to Ager. Sant llorenc Lake (Pantà de Sant Llorenç de Montgai) Ivars Lake (Estany d'Ivars-Vila-Sana) The drylands and plains near Balaguer Utxesa Nature Trail south of Lleida (Camí natural del riu Segre i Utxesa).
