The West Midlands (Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire,
Warwickshire and the former West Midlands county) provide a wide range
of bird habitats, from moorland, heath and wood to meadow, marsh and
river. This guide covers 45 major areas, with 100 sites described in
detail.
Each major site has at least one detailed map, and the text is
organized under the headings of "Habitat", "Species", "Timing" and
"Access".
