Crann's mission statement is to releaf Ireland with broadleaf trees. Ireland was once almost entirely covered with mixed forests, and now, with currently only 1% of the total land area covered with broadleaf trees, it has become the least wooded country within Europe. PS. 'Crann' means 'tree' in Irish.
