| Save Longstone Edge |
We exist to protect Longstone Edge from damage by quarrying. This
three-mile-long limestone hill is beautifully situated just to the
north of Bakewell in the Peak District National Park, and is threatened
by an enormous quarry at its eastern end. A massive scar could form in
the heart of unspoilt scenery in the National Park. This must not be
allowed.
