Kent High Weald Project

The High Weald is a designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with its rolling hills, small, irregular fields, abundant woods and hedges, scattered farmsteads and sunken lanes.

The Kent high Weald Project was established in 1991, and is now a partnership funded by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Council.

Working with individuals, community groups, schools, youth groups, landowners, local businesses and Parish Councils, the partnership aims to 'link the local community and the countryside, by raising awareness and encouraging action'.

Most of our activities are based in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) within the Tunbridge Wells Borough.
