Royal Society for the Protection of Birds
Founded in 1889 the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has always been guided by sound conservation principles. RSPB nature reserves provide an excellent opportunity to watch birds and other wildlife in some of the most beautiful parts of the country. There are over 140 RSPB nature reserves throughout the UK, covering more than 240,000 acres.Members of the RSPB and its club for children, RSPB Wildlife Explorers, are admitted free to all RSPB reserves. You may join the Society at reserves. The RSPB works for a healthy environment rich in birds and wildlife; it depends on the support and generosity of others to make a difference.
