Set in the beautiful north Bedfordshire countryside beside the River
Great Ouse, Harrold-Odell Country Park is ideal for a fascinating and
enjoyable visit to the countryside. Two tranquil lakes created from
land used for sand and gravel extraction cover about half of the park's
144 acres. The picturesque riverbanks and water meadows which make up
the rest of the park provide excellent opportunities for a wide range
of activities.
Habitats include a river and meadows, lakes, woodland and osier bed. Birds and flora include kingfisher, great crested grebe, wildfowl and orchids.
