Eakring Birds.co.uk is the only comprehensive Natural History resource, currently available for Nottinghamshire. It's original concept came back in 1998, but was only available as a printed bird report. It was first available on the Internet as long ago as 1999 titled 'The Eakring Birds Web Pages' and was primarily dedicated to the birds found within the agricultural farmland of the Eakring and Kersall area of Nottinghamshire. Since then, coverage has been given to the area's butterflies, moths and dragonflies. The extensive and continuing fieldwork conducted is (perhaps surprisingly) the first of it's kind in the area.
