Situated in part of the Bodmin Moor Site of Special Scientific
Interest, birdwatchers will not be disappointed at this moorland lake.
The banks (except by the Nature Reserve) are open for walking and
picnicking but there is no formal picnic area. There is a bird hide in
the wooded area.
No other activities take place on the water, in recognition of the high conservation value of this location.
