CamelBirder

The River Camel rises on Bodmin Moor above Camelford, it then makes its way towards Bodmin and then turns sharp right and heads for the north Cornish coast, before issuing into the sea between Pentire and Stepper Points.

Species encountered will depend on the time of the year, in winter look out for Golden Plover and Lapwings, while in the summer Shelduck young can be watched feeding on the mudflats. Rarities noted include Osprey, Spoonbill, Glossy Ibis and Collared Pratincole.
