ParkingDisabled accessToiletsDisabled toiletsBaby changing facilitiesPicnic tables

As one of the few wetlands left in west Scotland, Lochwinnoch is an ideal day out for all the family. It's the perfect spot to watch swans, geese and ducks in winter months; in spring, you won't want to miss the elaborate displays of the great crested grebe.

Opening times

The reserve is open at all times. The visitor centre is open daily from 10 am-5 pm with the exception of 25-26 December and 1-2 January, when the centre is closed.

Entrance charges

Free entry to visitor centre, viewing area and shop. Small admission fee for nature trails (£4 family, £2 adult, 50p child/concessions). Free for RSPB members.
