The Kite Country Project, and RSPB, invited us to be the Official Kite Country Red Kite Feeding station. The success of this has encouraged us to further increase our commitments to the wildlife on the farm. A wetland is one of the latest projects. Wild ducks, herons, and gadwall, grey, pied, and yellow wagtails have already found it to be to their liking.

The Gigrin is a family run upland sheep farm of approximately 200 acres, owned and farmed by Chris Powell, and Mrs Lena Powell. The land is 700 feet rising to 1200 above sea level giving us wonderful views of the Wye and Elan valleys here in mid-Wales.
