With some of the finest cliff scenery in Wales, dramatic views of the Pembrokeshire coast from its high hills, and wildlife typical of an offshore island, Ramsey has its own special magic. The characteristic island birds all nest here- auks, kittiwakes, shearwaters, peregrines, choughs, ravens, lapwings, wheatears and many more. Large numbers of birds, including many unusual species, rest briefly on the island during the spring and autumn migrations.
