Birdwatch Northumbria runs birdwatching tours for people who are not birdwatchers! Many people have an interest in birds, yet they rarely go out birdwatching. Often they think they don't have the knowledge to try it, or they feel intimidated when they go out by the seriousness of birdwatchers they meet.
