Meadow Pipit? I don't wish to come across as in any way 'weird' here, only; I just happen to have one in the deep freezer, right now!
Happened to spot it, face down in the Juncus, below a fence line along my track. Poor little soul had obviously just dropped off its perch. I brought it home and am looking out for a Taxidermist who might want it ~ though most prefer more 'familiar' birds. Joe Public will buy Robins and Blue Tits all day. Who wants a little, brown bird they've never heard of?
Anyway; If anyone would like a couple of 'close as it gets' shots of a Meadow Pipit? Shout out and I'll take them. Sort of unskinned Cabinet Skin job.
