You're going to laugh when I tell you what it was having finally solved it.

I was on a beach, near Crovie, or was indeed Crovie? Went to loads of places, I am lost to where and when and what was here or there. It will all come back to me once I get a good sleep again LOL
Anyway, On the beach i heard the same call, I knew I had heard it elsewhere and recently. (It was in Loch Winnoch) Just couldn't remember at the time.
Anyway, I looked up, saw the birds, and managed two pics of them. A few pics.
Just looked at pics on PC there and found out it was Oyster catchers LOL

Well, it's not like you would normally hear and see such birds at your local Asda now is it LOL.
Not in Glasgow anyway. Being so near to the sea, I guess it's common for said birds to do a bit of scavaging at the local seaside asda. And here they are.
