Alan sent me the full images and i believe it is indeed a juvenile Peregrine (well done Mike

) the bird in the images makes much more sense when you see it in context with rest of image, the wing tip fingers are the result of the downsweep of the wings, the fact only three fingers are visible is consistant with a falcon. It is 100% definately not a Marsh Harrier
