Hi Neil could I put forward my favorite reserve for Cheshire. Inner Marsh Farm and Burton marsh near Neston on the Wirral, both run by the RSPB . The reserve itself is a little on the small side right now with only the one, although quite spacious hide. But I hear on the grapevine its due for an expansion next year. I am led to believe there could be 2 new hides and a RSPB visiter centre. Not sure when this work will start but I will keep you posted. A great reserve never the less where anything can turn up. This highlighted just this week with 2 Long Billed Dowitchers taking up residence for the last week and still there today. Thanks Jonny.
