I found that, I only watched for a while and turned over to Outnumbered (which is the best thing to hit TV since Fawlty Towers).

I think the silliness was deliberate as it started from the out set and carried on, it was obvious it was not going to stop and must be designed into the production. I've never seen Michaela present in that style before. I can only assume it's been done to cover up the selfcentered, smugone.

Yes, Cwis still annoys the heck out of me.

Totally agree. Talk about dumbing down. I hope she isn't going to be permanent. The interaction just wasn't there like it is with Kate Humble. Anyone know if Kate will be back for Springwatch?

Oh dear...it doesn't sound promising! I have yet to watch it!

I will give my verdict probably sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening!

I only managed 30 minutes to be honest! I have to say that I was not overly impressed with the presenters, Martin (whatever his name is) came across as the only sane one in the 30 mins I viewed! I doubt I will bother watching the remainder of the programme.
Maybe they will settle down for the next programme and get on with the nature part of the programme and less of the gibberish!

I'm not surprised at all Judith,it was dreadful imho!
I just hope as you say that in the future programmes they'll settle down and get on with the wildlife instead of clowning around like children!

I suppose it's all about creating a balance.

Generally I don't mind them ''messing'' about, but in this episode they just weren't funny and it appeared overly staged.

More importantly, the bits in between were lacking too. There was little substance to the actual wildlife pieces - perhaps with the exception of the horse-shoe bats, but even that was dumbed down with Chris's model of the nose!
