Just got"Bearded Tit" by Rory McGrath and "How to be a bad bird watcher" by Simon Barnes for 1p each +pp.From Amazon will let you know if any good...

Two good buys there, Amanda! I can vouch for Simon Barnes book as being great reading, I haven't rread Rory Mcgrath's so please let us know what you think of it when you have read it! Enjoy your bargain books!

Have finished reading the two books i got..

"Bearded Tit" is a load of dribble! did try realy hard to like this book but in the end just gave up,it was not for me..

"How to be a bad bird watcher"this book only took a day to read and was brill,it's ok to be a bad bird watcher!
Simon Barnes enthusiasam rubs of and how great pleasure comes from bird watching.Will be reading some more of his books.

He wrote a companion book called (funnily enough) A Bad Birdwatcher's Companion.....you might like that too Amanda!
