Book Help Please

A Dictionary of Birds (Poyser Monographs) by Bruce Campbell & Elizabeth Lack

Can anyone recommend this book as a really good reference work before I shell out nearly £50?

It looks to be a very thorough and detailed book Sue,tho I've only "viewed" it at Amazon.....personally I'd love it tho am an avid reader and book collector......however I do think I'd look for a good second hand version first.

Thanks Ruth. I have ordered a 2nd hand one through Amazon for £25 + £2.80 P&P. It is in as new condition and a first edition. So half price. Thanks for the idea. Much appreciated. Sue
