Default Book Help!

I'm feeling a bit !

I've asked around about the best field guide to get. I've got a Collins, which literally 'lives' with me, I take it with me for day trips and use it to ID my photographs. I've also got a RSPB: Pocket Guide for the shorter and local trips, but I've been told (By numerous people) that I should buy better guides. I only brought those two guides because they were recommended to me, and now I've been told I need a step up!

Is what I have good enough, they certainly has served me well enough.

Cheers Ruth, I've never even struggled to ID any mystery Bird with these 2 books, so I was a bit confused to as why people were saying they weren't good enough.

I guess what satisfies one shall not satisfy another.
