Default Water Fowl & Sea Bird Book?

Hi There Everyone

I was wondering if any of you know of a good book for Water Fowl and Sea Birds of the World as everywhere I look I seem to find Birds of Britain and Europe or even Birds of the World and inside very little on Water Fowl and Sea Birds any help would be gracefully received.

Kind Regards

BCB

I've got a copy of Wildfowl of the World by Eric Soothill and Peter Whitehead. It's ok for what I want and only cost a couple of quid although it's a hardback copy. It was first published in 1979.

Hi Peter

On other forums I have a different user name it's Black Country Birder shortened to BCB as I live in the Black Country (CRADLEY) and have been in the same street now for 48 years I know the countryside by me like the back of my hand and have seen species that I thought didn't exsist (not on about birds) I also belong to a group of elderly birders (just started up) as other people seem not to want to know from the people who have been birding the area for over 50years plus.

I did have a bit of a dispute with a few people on twitter about the name of the area (LUTLEY WEDGE OR CRADLEY FIELDS) but I now call them both just to stop confusion.

I do the round once a month with a group of birders aged over 60 years old (they do the area every week) there's not much get past these guys including fake reports from the area.
