I can't remember what day during our Christmas forum break it was, but we had a bullfinch in the garden for only the second time ever recently.

Other than that, I don't get out much at the moment. There's a penduline tit hanging around not far from my work but far enough I can't get to it during daylight!

Only had Bullfinch in tge garden a couple of times in ten plus years. Shame about the Penduline I missed the one at Longham a couple years back.
Had a good start to the year though with a smart Hawfinch.

Nice pics. Is Poole Park an urban park or part of Poole Harbour?

Both! It's a proper town park but it also borders the harbour.

Great pics of a great bird Woody. There's one lingering near here but I'm yet to get to see it!

As this past weekend was the national Red Kite count weekend maybe my BotD was one of the Red Kites we saw yesterday on the edge of Nidderdale. Of course it could be the Starling murmuration we saw with upwards of 20,000 Starlings but maybe that's being a bit greedy !!
