A fledgling Dunnock and it's mum (I presume it's mum) in my garden yesterday morning! Lovely to still be seeing fledglings.

Dipper, Kingfisher and Grey Wagtails on the River Brock at Bilsborrow.

Went specifically to see Dipper - saw 1 only and as soon as I raised my camera it flew off never to be seen again

Plenty of Grey Wagtails - about 5 along the river, and the back end of a fleeting Kingfisher.

Was delighted to have seen 1 as this was a first for me. Only got a fleeting glance so would like to go back and try for better views, and a photo would be nice!

I'm at my friends in Fife at the moment, yesterday morning I watched 2 Osprey's fishing on the River at Gaurdbridge near Saint Andrews, absolutely wonderfull In the evening we went down to Fife Ness and sat among the rocks at Balcomie and were rewarded by amazingly close views of the small wader flock which had c.25 Ringed Plover, 7 Dunlin and 2 Sanderling. Just getting ready to see what today will bring

What a day, started off with the Osprey at Guardbridge again, it was fishing and hit the water about 40 feet away, the splash was loud but a Hawthorn got in the way; stopping me from getting an image of it hitting the water Finished the day by finding 5 Meditteranean Gulls at Buckhaven, superb!! Now have 2242 images to sort out will post some later when I've sorted them.
