Thanks and thanks to Twitcheruth, I like it too, its better quality before resize & upload have a look at on my site.
Woodley Precinct has 2 very large Mountain Ash trees that are always full of berries. Usually there is a Mistle Thrush that stands guard over his stash, keeping the Blackbirds and Starlings away. But the Waxwings aren't worried by him at all so clear up, poor Mistle Thrush all that work for nothing.

2 Fieldfare reported over West kirby Wirral on 23rd September. I'll be popping over there the next few days so i'll keep my eyes peeled.

An exciting time of year! I can't wait for the arrival of Fieldfares, Redwings and Waxwings (well with a bit of luck we will have Waxwings again)!

It certainly is an exciting time Judith........I'm due for a Waxwing,we chased them all over Cheshire last winter to no avail!
