Thumbs up Sand Martin colony video and Tidal Bore video

Hi Bassist, Thanks for the videos! Looks like you have a really interesting local patch with plenty to see.

The Sand Martin colony looks like it's thriving – I wonder if the fisherman knows he's on Youtube!

I found the Tidal Bore video is very interesting.

For those of you who haven't heard of Tidal Bore, it's a tidal phenomenon in which the leading edge of the incoming tide forms a wave of water that travels up a river or narrow bay against the direction of the current. As such, it's a true tidal wave!

These are really good,

My local bit of the Ribble is, as you know, the north side of the estuary, I'm definately going to be making trip further south to explore further.
