Default Linnet

Just wanted to let someone know i saw my first Linnet today. At Chevin Park nr Otley, big area of farm land, hedges, copses, heathland and wood. The bird was good enough to stay there while i went through my bird book. At first i thought it might of been a Redpoll but on close inspection i noticed it did't have a yellow bill. Also been watching Chaffinches and Goldfinch to day.

Smile Linnet

Hi Amanda, A Linnet is one of those birds a lot of people have heard about but probably haven't seen.

Sounds like you are getting out and about with your birdwatching!
