Default Profile Picture

Hi
I am trying to upload a profile pictue i have tried uploading directly I tried from photobucket
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../birding_1.jpg
is there a specific format the pixel size is 97*94 and under 24Kb

Yes, it won't work!

I tried with mine and even the one I have says file upload failed.

I am not technical at all but will try and help you.

I use PhotoScape and resize my images to 800x600 which seems to be acceptable on forums etc. I also occasionally use Windows to resize my images.

I hope this helps.

I use adobe CS3 photoshop and the format .JPG pixel size 97X94 and 16kb so what format do you use ie jpg psd etc

JPG, 251 KB, 800 x 600, if that is any help....it is double dutch to me to be honest!

Hello Dai, if you click on your profile, then profile picture you will see
Your Current Profile Picture

No Profile Picture Specified
Profile pictures are small pictures of yourself, which are displayed within your user profile.
Custom Profile Picture
You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website

Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever

if you before doing this go to where your pictures are stored, select the one you want, resize it as per instructions here, then go to option 2 click browse, which will take you to your storage, click on the picture you want to use click on it then click open, which will then bring it to the above panel then click upload, when it has done that click save, all done. hope this helps.

Hi I have done all that as my image size is 97X94 and 16kb in size and in jpeg format but it still says upload failed
lts got me baffled I do a lot of web design just cant think what the problem is
this is my latest web www.aberbranfawr.co.uk and if you look under team I am there with my wife.

Default Got it Profile

I have found it the route is Cp - settings - Edit Avatar

I was trying to edit profile picture and upload from there which it states you can but it does not work
