Wink Made to look like a FOOL once again!

I spent many happy hours Hillwalking, as a youngster & one of the most iconic birds of those times for me, was the Curlew.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen one for many years now!
So imagine my delight when I stepped out of my back door today & heard one call, on the other side of my Leyland Hedge.
As I moved quickly to get round to have a good look it called again, but as I rounded the end of the hedge, the call suddenly changed to that of a Buzzard!!!!!!!!!

Fooled again! ..............

Two Starlings were sitting on a wire & I guess he was just doing his best to impress his lady friend with his repertoire!
He certainly impressed me!

Cheers
Dick

Perhaps next time look up before you dash around the hedgerow.lol!! I had three Starlings in my garden this afternoon, just a quick bite to eat and off they flew, no repertoire from any of them!
