Default Canon 7D

I've just got myself a 7D and cant wait to try it out properly. Initial impressions are good, here are a few images taken in Kelvingrove Park

I used my Sigma 300 f2.8 lens with 1.4x convertor with the camera.

Male Chaffinch

Wooigeon

Redwing

Dunnock

Will post some more when I get out and about, really busy at work so don't know when that will be lol )

Cheers, John

Looking good John. The Redwing is a nice pose. Are they still around up there?

Some nice images there John.

I'd like a 7D but can't justify getting one. Mind you, 6 numbers tonight could change that.

Great pictures there John I would love a 7d but just cant find the money for one so I will just have to stick with my Canon 400d for the time being

I couldn't have afforded it either but thankfully I have a wonderful girlfriend who heavily subsidised the purchase of the camera (thanks Gail). It's very frustrating that I haven't been able to give it a good try out yet.. bloody work gets in the way lol

A couple more images from the 7D

River Kelvin at Queen Margaret Bridge

I'm off for 5 days from Thursday next week so hopefully give it a good try then

River Kelvin at Queen Margaret Bridge

I've been over that bridge very many times in my earlier pre-birding days, but never seen it from that angle.

You're going to have great fun with that camera
