Default Nikon has a new baby.

I have waited for nearly 2 years for the d400 to be released, in the meantime I have played with and bought D300S and D7000 which has nearly paid for it's self in a Month. So what has Nikon done? reveiled the new D4 on sale in 4 weeks. Looks GREAT!!!, setting the standards in DLR'S,
.Full frame, 11shots a second ect, ect, ect and takes the new memory cards, Well I suppose I will wait for a while and start saving and just maybe be patient till Summer.

Yummie. 1.18 kgs against 1.23 for the D3. Right direction but I had hoped for lighter.

I'll wait a while for the price to get sensible.

At that price you are far better off spending the money on some good glass and a D7000. It would seem the specs of this are barely better than a D7000 for all practical purposes.

Come to think about it, this launch may reduce the price of the D3s to sensible levels and I will get one of those.
