Default " A Day on the Rails "

With the weather getting colder and ponds and the ground freezing up, this is a time to take advantage of. Birds and animals become less fearless and easier to see as they look for food. Bitterns ( If you live in England ) and water rails leave the frozen ponds in a search for food. I went to Aberlady knowing that Water rails had been seen next to the path,

Eouipment- The cheepest, pongest, cat food you can buy, Warm clothes, and camera.

Instructions - Place food on the best lighten area, sit in the shade, and wait it out.

There maybe not the best back ground photos but it works, it also gives you a chance to see a bird that is only mostly heard.

Wonderful shots. How long did you wait and have you thawed out yet?
