Went for the usual walk around Tayport, armed with bread and water for the nesting swan at the harbour, this time we have a bottle of water to top up the drinking container.
Once at the harbour we notice that both parents are at the nest, pen and cob. (Photo 1)

History

I haved lived inTayport for over 8 years and for the last 4 years I have noticed a pair of swans nesting next to the harbour.
The nest site has always been on a small scrap of grass between houses, flats and a very busy public path, well used with walkers with dogs.
You can see how close the nest site is to houses in some of the photos attached.

Finally made it back, 3 weeks of kicking sand in the desert.
Will someone come and kick my ass and get me out of the front door.
Its so cold, wet and grey outside.
The camera is packed, the car has fuel, just need to wrap up and brave it.
