This year sees the 43rd annual All Ireland conference held jointly between RSPB Northern Ireland and BirdWatch Ireland and we are delighted to invite you to join us at the Hilton Templepatrick Hotel, in the magnificent Castle Upton Estate on the banks of The Six Mile Water, near Belfast.
The conference is for anyone with an interest in nature, experts and non-experts alike. This year’s theme is Futurescapes and the need for a landscape scale approach to conservation across Ireland, showing how everyone, from farmers and gardeners to planners, has their part to play in ensuring the survival of our diverse habitats and the wildlife they sustain.
We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend, including presentations from top quality speakers, such as Dick Strawbridge, and local experts and leaders in the field of conservation; field trips; and of course our fantastic gala dinner and drinks reception. We also have events for children aged 5–12 years, focusing on conservation, education and fun! Then on Sunday there are fieldtrips to the beautiful Castle Upton, Belfast Harbour Reserve and Portmore Lough Reserve.
We have only 180 places, including 20 child places, so please make your booking as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.
Call Suzanne Irvine on 02890690833 to book. Alternatively, you can e-mail her on Suzanne.irvine@rspb.org.uk.
Make sure you don't miss out on what promises to be a great weekend.
