Default Camera Help

Well I have a fujifilm S7000 camera, I have no idea about whether this is a good camera to have or not. I want to be able to take good clear pictures of birds, because as of now, my camera isn't the best for doing that job. So i'm guessing that I may need to invest in a lens for the camera. So the question is, what type of lens would you recomend for me to use to enable me to take clear shots of birds?

Thanks,

I can't make a recommendation for a lens for your camera, but a saying in photogrphic club circles is that your sharpest lens is the one on your tripod.

Any experienced wildlife photographer might advise the use of a stable tripod.

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't your camera got a fixed lens? If so you may have to go for a supplementary lens kit, Fuji may do some in their accessories list or you could try Raynox. I use a Raynox 2.2x HD teleconverter on a Panasonic FZ50 (bridge camera) and find it works well for me. Have a look through my British Birds album on my website most of those were taken using the Raynox, dont forget to click "full size" under any picture for best results.
