Question Canon EOS 20D

The Canon EOS 20D is an 8.2-megapixel semi-professional digital single-lens reflex camera. It is the successor of the EOS 10D, and was succeeded by the EOS 30D in August 2006. It accepts EF and EF-S lenses and uses an APS-C sized image sensor.

How does this one perform for bird photgraphy?

The 20D is a superb camera for Bird Photography, I am thinking of upgrading to a 40D but am very reluctant as the 20D has served me so well. I use a Sigma 300 mm f2.8 lens witha 1.4x converter which takes it up to 420mm and find it a very good combination.
Most of the images in my gallery were taken with this camera (including the one below).
