Yes Alan I rushed over last night about 8 o'clock before it went dark. Got a couple of decent views. It hasn't been seen again since early this morning or I would have went over again. Quite a plain bird really apart from it's lovely eye stripe, pity it wasn't a male. But you can't grumble at seeing a Bluethroat.

Great news with the Bluethroat, Johnny! I have seen them in Portugal but not the UK, a lovely bird, especially the male.

Have to admit didn't know these birds exiisted until a couple of years ago. Do they frequent the UK, if so where?

Whoops just noticed at the beginning of the thread they do frequent the UK
