Default Hen Harrier & Short-Eared Owl

A couple of Hen Harrier and also 2 Short Eared Owl back to hopefully spend the winter again this year on the Dee Estuary Wirral. All 4 birds seen in the last couple of days from the old baths car park at Parkgate. Last winter was a special one on the estuary for both these birds with one count of 20+ SE Owl with some estimates of up to 40 hunting from one end of the estuary to the other. And as many as 9 Hen Harrier reported in one particular day. So heres hoping for much of the same this winter.
