If you want to try a scope and eyepiece before you buy try In Focus Optics at WWT Martin Mere.......quite near to you!
I bought my scope from them and they are very good and very helpful! My eyepiece is a wide eyepiece 24X30 zoom and the scope a Nikon ED 82 which has been a wonderful buy! Good luck with your choice! ![]() http://www.at-infocus.co.uk/martinmere.html |

I know where you mean, but being a tighto/moneywise i have never been as yet.Last time i was cycling past and checked it out it,i think it was was £8.50....to get in........!Not a lot of money i know, but i just seem to have an aversion to paying to watch birds....!I suppose this aversion will change over the years when my list gets longer, and there are birds there and elsewhere/which require payment 2 see which i have not seen.....!but at the moment i am quite happy to combine my other hobby cycling, with birding.......!I had no idea obviously...! that there was a scope shop there, will be checking the link out it in depth later.Thanx .........peace....!
