Smile Garden Birds photos site

Hi,
just to introduce my site http://www.birds.deansfamily.com which is mainly just a collection of bird photos. The main focus of this is garden birds that I've photographed in our garden over the last couple of years, although there are several pages of photos that I've taken out and about as well. There are also two web cams, one on the feeders and one in a nest box. The latter of which also has sound - but no nesting birds as yet, although the Blue Tits are daily visitors. I'm currently working on a third camera in a second box, which I'll add to the site if and when we have any takers.
Nearly all the photos are fairly hi-res at 1280x960 and currently cover 71 species, 39 of which were captured in our garden.
Finally, a small note of apology to the 20% or so that use Firefox or any other non-IE browser, the pages may not appear quite as I intended, but hey-ho, I'm working on it.

Simon

Hi Simon,

Thanks for the post. We've also added your link to our directory.

http://www.birding.uk.com/directory/webcams/

It's currently under webcams.

It's quite amazing the diversity of birds you've recorded in your West Wickham garden.

Can you tell us what type of camera you are using as I'm sure a lot of people would like to get similar results? This could be posted under Birdwatching Equipment.

How about creating an album with a few highlights on this bird forum?

Smile Website photos

Thanks Neil,

My photos were all taken with a Canon EOS 350 digital and a 55-200 lens. The key element here (apart from being digital) is that it's an SLR camera, which gives virtually no pause between pressing the shutter button and capturing the image. I previously had a Nikon Coolpix, but that slight pause makes it so much more difficult to get the right shot.

I'll pick a few out for an album.

Simon.
