Default Balck Country Birders Year List 2012

So far this year I have only visited Rutland Water Reserve for birding purposes other than this I have only seen birds in my garden but species seen so far this year are -

Berwick Swan, Black Headed Gull, Blackbird, Blue Tit, Bull Finch, Canada Goose, Carrion Crow, Chaffinch, Coal Tit, Collard Dove, Common Gull, Coot, Common Snipe, Cormorant, Curlew, Dunlin, Dunnock, Egyptian Goose, Feral Pigeon, Gadwell, Gold Finch, Golden Plover, Goldeneye, Goosander, Great Tit, Greater Black Backed Gull, Great Crested Grebe, Green Woodpecker, Grey Heron, Herring Gull, House Sparrow, Jack Snipe, Jackdaw, Jay, Kestrel, Lapwing, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Linnet, Little Egret, Long Tailed Tit, Magpie, Mallard, Moorhen, Mute Swan, Pheasant, Pied Wagtail, Pintail, Pochard, Raven, Red Kite, Red Wing, Reed Bunting, Robin, Rook, Shelduck, Shovelor, Siskin, Smew, Song Thrush, Sparrow Hawk, Starling, Stone Chat, Teal, Tree Sparrow, Tufted Duck, Widgeon, Wood Pigeon

67 individual species seen so far

I will update this thread about once a month with new information of the birds I see around the UK

Just a couple to add to my list at the moment haven't been able to go far due to parent being ill too add are

Wren, Greater Spotted Woodpecker & fieldfare list is coming on upto 70 for this year now great

Many thanks for your comment and yes my parent is getting better I know for a fact as i'm going deaf again with constant nagging.

Off to Sandwell Valley RSPB tomorrow 16 / 02 / 2012 with a new scope and I have now got myself an adaptor for my Nikon D300s but will only try a few photographs to start with but hope to pick up some new sightings for this years list

Great day at the Valley yesterday did take my new Scope and wow what a difference a bigger zoom makes the list of sightings looks a big one but was there from 08.00am till 1.30pm and did have agood look round will be visiting roughly every 2 to 3 weeks as the weather gets better the list of sightings follows -
