It was really interesting to watch these creatures during a warm spell during early October.

Can you ID ?

Ummm. That's what I was going to suggest too. The wings look a bit small for this to be a butterfly, but that does look like a nectar-glugging tongue. Is it one of the Skippers? Small Skipper?

Humming Bird HM was gonna be my first guess too........

I am just guessing now but looking at the marbling

underneath, is it a marbled white, or swallowtail ???
