Default How many species?

Have a go at counting how many different species of bird there are in this shot.

Tufted duck
Black-headed Gull
Mallard
Coot
Moorhen
Pochard
Greylag geese
Shelduck
Little grebe
and Herring gull

I agree with Alan but I don't think there is a Herring Gull in the photo but I can see a Common Gull.

I'm going for 7 in Bassists pic:

Tufted duck
Coot
Canada goose
Black headed gull
Lesser black backed
Greater black backed
Cormorant

There is a group of 3 brownish looking smudges at the top of the pic that I can't make out, so maybe 8!!
