American Golden Plover.

American Golden Plover reported yesterday first at Leasowe on the Wirral then later on at Seaforth nature reserve Merseyside (permit only). Presumably the same bird as for those who don't know the area very well the 2 places are quite close. They are on opposite sides of the river Mersey but only about 2 miles apart. No sign today.
