I'm very new to this too. Until January I'd never identified a Dunnock before. Since I was shown one, they now seem to be everywhere!

I'm currently marvelling in the fact we've got Swifts buzzing round the house. Before last Monday, I'd have sworn I'd never seen one - now there's loads. On Saturday I managed to see Swifts and Swallows at the same time, they're actually very different side by side!

One thing you'll notice on here is any mystery picture will always be cleared up with 100% certainty. I think I'll post pictures only as a last resort cos half the fun is trying to match them to the pictures in the book!
