Hi sweets, firstly its my river not yours...!hehe The ribble has always been an important part of my life,i go there all the time ...bird watching, walking, cycling, hunting for driftwood...etc.I am having my ashes scattered into it when i have been cremated...!So if you see a smudge of dust ,floating past when i have left this world saying "hi amanda"that will be me..!hehe peace.!

Hi bassist, just wanted to lell you it's funny hearing you talk about the Ribble all the time.I lived in a mill house next to the river at Langcliffe, the water that fed of the river ran through our garden(olden days it was a corn mill run by a water wheel)The river was just over the garden wall,i allways think of the River Ribble as mine!
