Fantastic shot ! I've not seen a Nuthatch in MANY years since I moved up to Scotland.
What have you got in the feeder to attract them ?

Thanks guys for your replies to this image.
This Nuthatch has been around for a few weeks but i have been unable to capture it until now.
All i use to attract the birds is a basic mix, but add Sunflower seeds, and Peanuts.
On several of my logs i use a fat cake made up of Lard, Peanuts, B;lack sunflower seeds, maybe the occasional Porridge, and for a special treat some Dried Mealworms.
Its surprising how much they go through, a lot falls to the ground, but they still forage for the seed .
Best regards Paul

It will almost certainly be the peanuts its after, Paul. When I have seen Nuthatches on feeders thats what they have gone for. Good photo!

That is a super shot Paul, I have never seen one live as yet, perhaps one day.

I am hoping that his Nuthatch will be a regular visitor to my garden over this winter.
Peanuts are already on the menu, but i will put some extra in the fatcake just to keep it coming back for more.
Best regards Paul

Thanks for your reply Paul. I shall give that a go!
You must have a good long lens on your camera either that you sit in a hide close to them all day
.... brilliant shots.
